What to do on Bora Bora?

Just under an hour’s flight from Tahiti or Moorea lies the island of Bora Bora, The Island of Romance. With its emerald isles rising from the turquoise waters and Mount Otemanu majestically rising like a castle from its midst no wonder people fall in love at first sight with this magical place. With its Indigenous name meaning “first born”, legend has it that this was the first island to arise after the mythical creation of what is now known as Hawaii. Known best for its spectacular overwater bungalows, Bora Bora has been a dream destination for lovers from all over the words for many decades.
