RANGIROA ESSENTIALS

DIVE THE ATOLLS

The deep lagoon encircled by the atolls is a diver’s paradise, with rich marine life that is set to rival the colours found above water. Here, you will experience a phenomenon known by experienced divers as “shooting the pass”, described as the world’s greatest adrenalin rush, where you will be carried by a rush of water between the ocean and the lagoon surrounded by seemingly millions of fish. Beyond the drop off and the reef are squadrons of eagle rays, schools of sharks and tuna.
